Polly Nichols wasn't just my client; she was my best friend. I spent everyday with Mrs Polly. She was smart, caring, funny, sneaky, but most of all she was heard. While I was with her, she wanted more than anything for someone to listen to her, to hear her. She loved watching the news and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I remember when I told her that I had never seen that show. Her eyes lit up and she said to me "That's something we can do together". Which is exactly what we did, we would watch two episodes a day. I will always remeber Polly Nichols as my best friend.

Brooklyn Lawrence

Mrs Patricia "Pat" Garrot was one of the most delightful, fun and energetic people that we have ever had the pleasure of taking care of. She was a humanitarian and always thought of everyone before herself even in her last days she never wanted to be a burden to anyone. To know her was to love her. she left behind a husband, family and lots of friends and caregivers who all loved her and miss her deeply

Village home care had the pleasure of helping Mr Stratton come home and remain their until his passing December 2, 2024. He was 90 years young.  He was a good man, a proud veteran, a mechanical engineer with multiple patents. He loved his wife and his family. We will never forget him 

David enjoyed living in the Village with his wife Sandy and their dog Tucker!! He loved riding in the golf cart cheering on his wife and friends. David had a warm personality, a wonderful sense of humor and a generous heart. To know him was an honor and he is truly missed.

Jo was a very sweet person always had a good joke to tell and a smile on her face. She was a Member of Barcelona baptist Church. She leaves behind her Husband Harley, Her son Jeff and daughter Leslie and Numerous other loved ones. We at Village home care will miss her!!

William Cady passed away Sept 8,2024. He leaves behind his wife Cathey Cady of 60 years. He loved to travel, football, boating, and just enjoying spending time with his wife and friends. We at Village Home Care will miss his spunk and Smile.

Mike Stefanski was a loving and dedicaed father, husband and grandfather. For the caregivers who had the opportunity to care for him he always had a smile, loved everyone. my favorite memory will always be his love for his wife Claudette and Bubble Gum!! R.I.P Mike you were an inspiration to all!!

Linda Puckett was a mentor to some, an inspiration to others, and a genuine friend and family member to all. She could light up a room with just the right ambience. A true warm-hearted soul. The message that she wanted to leave behind is "Speak your love for each other and party on!" 

Jeremy

Mr Smith was a very loving husband and father. He was also a Veteran of the Korean War. He moved here from Baytown TX in 2023 to retire and be close to his daughter Ginger. We loved having him as a client even for a short time. His caregivers all enjoyed spending time with him. 

Arthur Brink, was a loving husband, father and friend. In the short time we had to care for him, his caregiver stated that he never wanted to be a burden. They enjoyed football and Mr Brink loved the Bengalls

Nora "Ouida" Wolfe was loved by all who knew her. She was a nurse during 911 with the Red Cross. It was a pleasure to say we were able to assist and get to know her.

"Robert Butler was one of the best storytellers, he enjoyed trivia but his true passion was tennis. He is missed by all who knew him"

"If you want to stay at home during the period of getting older call Village Home Care, they can take care of that!" - George Tanner 

"Florence Moore lived a long happy life with her husband was a faithful believer in god. She loved to crochet and was an avid member of the Happy Hookers. She loved to teach everyone how to crochet. Mr. and Mrs Moore loved to travel together. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her"

We loved and enjoyed everyone that took care of Sharon.

"Joe is a kind person. He treated my parents like they were his family. Always kind, and strong during the hard times.
