Village Home Care provides a full complement of services to enable your loved one to remain independent and secure at home for as long as possible. We provide assistance to individuals with their Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). There are six basic ADL’s: eating, bathing, dressing, toiletry assistance, transferring (walking), and continence. ADL’s are routine activities that most people take for granted and tend do every day without needing assistance. As we age these routine activities can require assistance from a family member or other caregiver in order to cope and maintain a better quality of life.
Caregivers are trained to understand and apply the Theory of Retrogenesis. (Dr. Barry Reisberg). We utilize person-centered-care training and application to the client.
